The American Way of Health

New TV commercial...

The scene, a typical American living room, curtains drawn, lights off, TV on. The kids, one by one, are pulled to the television with a power that reminds me of the movie Poltergeist, "They're here..." I understand this part, my grandson is like this, my nieces and nephews are like this, heck, I'm like this. TVs on and I'm a video zombie, "must watch TV, need more TV..."

Cut to the kitchen door, dad pops through to issue these saving words, "Hey kids, I've got Dunkin' Donuts!"

Well that fixes everything! Fill their little tummies up with sugar and overly processed wheat. And America wonders why we're fat.
Here's why we wonder why we're fat, we're too frickin full of crap food to have an intelligent thought. Bodies are moving but brains are not being feed, they're being numbed and dumbed. And don't forget the big cups of coffee for mom and dad. Breakfast should always include the sugar and caffeine food groups.

I guess the redeeming factor is these kids will probably all grow up to be bankers or automobile manufacturing management. I know I feel better.

Pass the doughnuts please!
